    Marijuana

In the article entitled "Rocky Mountain High" they talk about high school inline in Colorado. If High School inline is growing there, where are all the college teams?

There is talk of the Rocky Mountain Region (I believe that is what it is called). I spoke with a member of the UC Boulder team, and he informed me that they may have a 6 team region in 2003-2004, plus possibly 4-6 B teams.

JMU Duke - please read the following below, clipped out of USAHIL news. See the complete post on the Inline Hockey Forum message board under the title "Tons o' USAHIL News"

"4. Collegiate Roller Hockey League's Rocky Mountain Region

The Collegiate Roller Hockey League (CRHL) has established a new Rocky Mountain Region. Colleges in Arizona, Colorado, western Kansas, northern New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming are invited to join the Rocky Mountain Region.

The Rocky Mountain Region will kick off with the fall 2003 season. Colorado State University, University of Denver, Johnson and Wales University, the University of Colorado and the University of Northern Colorado have all committed to the new league. Several other schools have shown interest and will hopefully be added before the season starts.

The Rocky Mountain Region is accepting colleges interested in joining. Fees and schedules have not yet been determined. If you are interested in receiving more information, please contact Justin Bradshaw (Colorado State University) or Brandon Hawes (University of Colorado) at [email protected]."

    Re: Marijuana

This is great to hear, I had started reading that post but it was just SO LONG! But I am excited, we played Colorado State at NCT this year and were eliminated by them. I was really pleased though, they had a couple of amazing hockey players, and in general were an great group of guys. Their sportsmanship was excellent both when they were losing, and when they were winning. I hope this will be the trend in the new MO, and I wish them well.

    Re: Marijuana

I saw COlorado State play at Upland on October 19th, and they were the least consistent team I saw there; first they beat UC Davis, a decent team, 4-3, then they got spanked by Cal Poly SLO 8-0, then they beat Chico State, a very solid team, in a hard fought 3-2 game, then finally they lost to UN Reno, the league bottem-dwellers for the entire season. Until they bring up tehir level of play soon and seriously work on their consistency, they aren't going to threaten anybody good anytime soon...
