why is Mission's customer service SO bad?
My friend broke the chassis on his Mission skates after 4 months of use, and he can never get them to return his calls (always gets voice mail). Why do they SUCK like that?? Now he's going to miss the start of our new session cause he has no skates and can't afford to buy a new pair. Thank GOD I don't use Mission!!!

Re: why is Mission's customer service SO bad?
hate to break it to ya, but mission service is great. what you need to do is take it to an authorized mission dealer and they call it in. mission, like most companies, deals with retailers and not the public. easton is one of the few that will warranty items direct, but that is only for shafts.

My Mission Proto V's chassis also cracked entirely this past summer. If you want to get a new chassis you need to take it to the point of purchase or a local Mission dealer because Mission doesn't directly deal with those issues. Good Luck!

I work in the hockey retail business and Mission's Customer Service is not that bad compared to Bauer/Nike where you are on hold for almost an hour before a real voice actually gets on the phone.
Just like the other guy said, you have to go through the retailer where you got them. Mission and almost everyone else does not deal directly with the public.
Good luck.

Dave, you idiot. 714-556-8856 call them. You didn't name the retailer you bought them from???? Give it up dog so we can know where not to buy our skates. You come on here and complain about somethin, cryin. Gee, get a grip man. Did you make the mistake of buying online, closeout or some where that you can't return them???(Another reason click and brick is the way to go.) Who's fault is that? Chasis breakage is a known problem and any retailer worth one of your dollars knows this. Instant replacement!!!! Froburn had it right, they are a wholesaler not a retailer, go to a certified dealer, they can take care of you. If you don't live by one, mail it! Gee, maybe even their Web sight.... They have a e-mail address, you seem computer littreritee.
(all ment in good fun)

You have balls calling me an idiot (even though you probably just spank yours around). When my Mission shin pads fell apart after 3 months, I called them 3 times- never getting a human and only an answer machine- with no return calls from them. Luckily my retailer took them back, but even they said that Mission sucked! And you wonder why less than 8 NHLers use any of their products.

Re: why is Mission's customer service SO bad?
Dave did you read the words in ( )'s? It was ment in good fun. Seriously, I do have big balls. Again, you did not mention the retailer you got it from. This is the biggest barrier to your problem. It was the first question I asked you and the one that can help you get what you want and might be owed. If it is a break at a specific place then you get a new pair of skates, case closed. The retailer can make that descision. A lot of people on this board, reading it, can help direct you to get what you deserve. Don't bug on the manufactuer that you are asking help from. You can bug on the retailer that is keeping you from what you need. I just called Mission myself and got through just fine. Monday, Tuesday and fridays are the hardest days to get through. They asked me what retailer you went to. I didn't have an answer. Secondly, why are you on here about a freinds equipment and sounding like a hater?
