Who do you think are the best teams in the tournament?
Here are some predictions:
Final Four - RIT, UCF, Penn State, Cal Poly SLO
Sleepers; Boston U and Lindenwood(does anyone know if Kahre is playing with them?)

That brings up an interesting point, How is the CRHL going to check to see if players on team rosters are actually eligible to play? Why can't a team like LINDENWOOD UNIVERSITY use the same guys and try to win the Division I title as well? (Not picking on LINDENWOOD, they are just the only team I know of that can do this.)

my picks: Texas, Cal Poly Pomona, RIT, and (I can't bring myself to name a fourth pick out of superstition and fear of incurring the wrath of the hockey gods)

[on a somewhat unrelated final four note, I know the round robin is necessary for being able to seed the teams, but imagine how cool it would be if the seeding committee could form the brackets before nationals started. we could circulate the brackets around our campuses, hold dorm and apartment pools with our friends, family, and co-workers, etc. imagine how much interest we could generate in the sport if we did that.

Because Premier is run by CRHL, and as such, CRHL has Lindenwood's roster from Premier. If they add Premier players to their DI roster, they will likely be disqualified, and likely suspended from play (like George Mason University a few years back). This is my understanding at least, somebody set the record straight if I'm wrong...

it's nearly 4:00 AM the day the NCT V shenanigans are set to begin. One might wonder, why isn't he in bed? My reply: It's Nationals time baby! No time for sleep when you can think about hockey!
