Can anyone tell me if there are any other adult leagues in the Pittsburgh area, besides at Island Sports Center???
Thank you.

there's a rink in Butler. I doon't know much about it, I played in a turnament there this summer.
Try Joe @ the Family Sports Center in Butler: (724) 482-2199. They have an adult ball league on Monday nights and a puck league on Thursday nights in the upstairs, smaller rink (120x65 or something).
The puck league is in the middle of the season and there will be a new, short, ball league starting on March 24 for six weeks.
At the end of April, the FSC will be converting the bigger rink from indoor soccer to roller hockey and the smaller rink vice versa.
There is a range of talent in the leagues and it is definitely some exercise.
Joe will have more information.
A new adult league might be starting up at the Starz Center on Executive Drive in Richland near Exit 4 of the Turnpike (76). The North Pittsburgh Roller Hockey League and the people behind it have convinced the owner to convert the indoor soccer complex to roller hockey for the summer. They are focusing on youth leagues, but might be expanding into an adult league. One of the gentlemen to contact is Jim Lorish ([email protected]).
There is also a new facility opening in the fall near the New Stanton exit of the Turnpike. The facility will be operated by a Tim Davis, I believe. I have not had direct contact with Mr. Davis, but both Jim Lorish of the NPRHL and Bob Arturo of the Island Sports Center have confirmed the construction of this facility.
Hope this helps.
