International Club Tournaments

Could someone help me out here.

We are thinking of holding an International Club tournament at the end of this year, other than the logistics involved in setting this up we need to get some sort of feedback from all who play the sport. Has anyone tried holding a tournament such as this other than in the States or Canada, if so could someone let me know if it was a success and what sort of turn-out did they get.

the middle of january is winternationals which is in Las Vegas, Nevada and also top cat is running a tournament at the end of december in Irvine, California

Hi Hans,

Cost factors seem to be the biggest obstacle with such tournaments. If you are expecting teams to fly in from other countries for your tournament, you have to take into account travel costs. As your tournament will be in South Africa, it's likely that only organizations/teams with big pockets looking for adventure will be able to attend.

I hope some IHC readers who have produced such tournaments in places besides North America will answer your question.
