    laces for new DNA skates

So, how exactly are we supposed to buy new laces for the new DNA mission skates? I know they're not exactly standard hockey laces... while the new lacing system is exciting to look at, it just screams "688 bearing" as far as compatibility goes... more legwork.

    anyone?

I was wondering the same. I was thinking about going with the wax ones i normally would use. These new laces rip my fingers up everytime I lace them up.

I am sure in a few months will be seeing places hockeygiant sell them, I hope soon because my D1's will need some new laces soon too. If not I guess I'll give mission a call.

I've been using waxed for a long time, and my fingers are feeling the pain of unwaxed laces too.

    Guys,

You can use traditional type laces in DNA skates. I recommend going with something thin, but any type will work.

We used the barrel type laces, because they work better than traditional unwaxed laces. A lot of players like unwaxed laces, but no retailer wants us to put them with our skates.

I personally use a very thin waxed lace...

Thanks Justin, I think when I need some new laces I'll go with the thin waxed laces like you recommend.
