NARCh
NARCh has sent out the block schedule with a girls division listed, the tentative age bracket will be 17 and under. What teams are going to show up to play? If we (girls) want to see this again we ned to show up. Currently USA inline is the only outlet to play in an all girls division.

Re: NARCh
Gonna have to review a few things...the July 27-30 date/block overlaps with USA Hockey Inline Youth Nationals...unless that were to change, our allegience must be with USAHIL...

Re: NARCh
Hey, dude, that would have been the women's division, which, in NARCh, 14 & older are eligible to play in...an actual Girls' Division would only be up through 17 year olds...USAHIL has both 8-12 and 13-17 divisions...the 13-17 year olds can also play in the USAHIL Cup (adult nat's)...
so, like, if we see you at upcoming event, like, stay away from my defensemen, and my daughter...
-just givin ya a hard time...

Re: NARCh
Yeah we were one of the all girl teams that attended winternationals. We played in the squirt divisions. What team were you from?

Re: NARCh
Played Sr. Gold, team name was Gators on the Rock..... haha dumb name, wasn't my idea. A bunch of us were talking to the Mission Vixens before one of their games, bla bla...... I'll tell ya what though, I had seen a few girls games while I was out there, and whoever says girls can't play hockey, is absolutely nuts..... half of those girls could school 90% of the guys I know haha

Re: AAU Hockey Girls
Barry:
Thank you for posting this information. We need to attempt to coordinate things so that the three youth national organizations don't eliminate each other from developing the girls' programs...as I understand it, USAHIL, AAU, and NARCh are all around the end-of-July, beginning-of-August time frame...
We certainly understand that these are all major events, and each organization has many, many other things going on that make it hard to settle on time frames...
but, HEY!
Those of us that would like to support the efforts to develop girls' opportunities, cannot do so with the totally conflicting schedules presently offered...
Please email me as to how we can help you in El Paso in the coming year...
Thanks!

Re: AAU Hockey Girls
Danny
I understand the problems with 3 to 4 series ending at the same time. As an ice hockey team, we have spent $$$$$.$$ this year, and need a break to pay off credit cards and refinance the house for the next year. If the powers that be would space out their finals we might actually hit 2 of them.
