Thanks for the info, I am glad you told me before I spent time trying to do it.

Do you notice much of a diffence from its original form. It sounds pretty easy and like it would work. It would defiently make a nice backup stick.

    Re: Sticks & Feathers

for me, the overiding factor was the lightness of the stick, which, four years ago with nothing else like it in the market, was phenomenal. Like I mentioned elsewhere in this thread, balance, grip, and flex do not feel any different to me.

    -however-

I'm as average as they come in power, strength, and overall skill in this game...I could probably get by with a lincoln log...the more skilled players that post here might find this (reversing the ends) to be a problem...I recommend it, but your personal feel might be different...

Thanks Danny, it is worth a shot. And maybe it could serve as nice backup stick for awhile. I have pretty good power in my shots but I think I will try it out, my broken synergy is just sitting in the garage, so I might as well get some use out of it. Again thanks for all your info.

Actually it is possible to put a replacement blade in a broken SyNergy if you break the blade on it. If you feel around at the point where a "normal" shaft would end (line it up with another one), there should be a seam. You'll be able to feel it. You can cut it there. If you're unsure, cut lower on the shaft and you can always cut more if you need to. However, doing it this way, you can only use a T-Flex blade. The downside is that Easton only makes a graphite T-Flex blade in the Drury pattern. Also, I believe Mission makes some sort of tapered blade.
Doing it this way still allows you to have that lower kickpoint versus flipping the stick around.

Also on another note, look for the Easton SyNthesis this year which is basically a 2-piece SyNergy. It will have special short tenon blades like the T-Flex but available in more patterns. Not sure if the T-Flex will be discontinued or not....

I do live in a cold area, but we never keep our good equipment in the garage. We keep shafts that have been cracked or too small out in the garage, just in case if we or someone else might need one.

Thanks for the instructions. I think my brother has a few of those mission blades too, I belive they are called ether blades.

    Re: Sticks & Stones

There is no 1 piece stick on the market. WE actually have cut 1 of every "1 piece" stick and have found glue where the blade comes together with the shaft. 1 of my M-1 blades actually fell out. So you're all getting ripped off by thinking you are getting an actual 1 piece...

That would be nice, I love the shanahan pattern on easton blades.

    Re: Sticks & Stones

if anyone here thinks they are getting a true one piece, then they are naive... all the sticks are kevlar wrapped where the blade goes in....... but being that one solidified coat goes over top of the entire stick, it's as close to a one piece composite as you're gonna get

    Re: Easton or Mission

definitely..... I've been using them for years with the easton Z-carbon 1-piece and the ABS extreme blade (outdoors)

The TPS tucker blade has too much twist on it for my liking.. beside, who makes a curve pattern after a cheap shot artist? lol
