Stuck at State Line

Hi Folks,

Might have blown a head gasket in my car (hope not!) on my way toward Las Vegas, so I'm stuck at State Line tonight and won't able to make it to the NARCh Winternationals till about 9:30 a.m. tomorrow morning.

My Jeep's been towed to a shop in Las Vegas and I'll be dealing with that tomorrow, too. Fun.

How's the tournament going? (What's the phone number at the Crystal Palace?)

Richard the phone number at Crystal Palace is 253-9832. I hope all goes well with your car. I am not sure I have only watched a couple of games. Our Las Vegas womens teams has won both their games so far.

Hi John,

Thanks for the heads up. I made it to a few games on Sunday morning, then dealt with the car most of the day. I should have taken auto class in high school, but I chose cooking because there were more girls...

I saw a couple of games later last night, then headed to a a buddy's so I could get an early start on the car tomorrow.

We've ruled out the distributor, the coil, a blown head gasket, and several other reasons why the car might not start, and the mechanic who worked for three hours on it today ($175) couldn't figure it out. Monday morning we'll go to a Jeep dealer, and see if it's the engine computer; that's what the mechanic figures it is.

Send your idea on to NARCh, and if gets accepted you could ask for a % of whatever they got for the commercial, you know for having it happen to you and thinking of it
