    CAGE, where are you?

Hey, is it just me, or is this CAGE League not going to get off the ground?

I really hoped it would get off the ground with MLRH still dragging it's feet on a pro league but it is looking more and more like there will be no real pro league this decade. It's sad because we were so close with RHI.

What exactly is the MLRH dragging its feet about?

It's on his profile on this board. I'll post it when I remember what it is since it's been so long since we corresponded by e-mail.

    As for MLRH:

MLRH is no closer to a pro league then it was 5 years ago when the last one shut down. All you ever hear is that "we can't afford it". Or the teams aren't big enough to support it and other stories. The bottom line is that not one of the teams can sustain a pro league of any magnitude because they are simply glorified NARCh teams with no money on the table to begin with. Not one of these teams is going to someday get enough money coming in to do anymore then be teams that cover enough costs so the players don't have to pay to play. At least NARCh tournaments have cash prizes.

Add this to the fact that dispite the fact that these teams supposedly fill their rinks and there has been more expansion there is NO timetable AT ALL for a pro league. No sponsors with money, no team owners with any capital at all and no rinks even the size of neighborhood rec ice arenas in Canada. However, many of the nation's best players are there playing for nothing. None of this computes into a potential pro league and expect this to remain an adult travel league for many years to come before it disappears.

Just forget about it!!!! This thing will never go, would any real pro league leave you in the dark for so long? I have been following the Atlantic coast hockey league this past year, and, when they were starting they had press releases left and right. They wanted you to know exactley what was going on. A hockey league is not supposed to be a secret, if this guy does'nt let some info go soon he will have no support at all. I think that even right now he has shown what kind of shottie management this thing will have, so unless a big name in hockey says so this thing is the plage to me.

Are you still involved with the Crunch? I was told that you were, so if your not disregard the rest of this. If you are though, why are you in a league that you know is going nowhere. Thats like going to work one day knowing the next day the business wont be there. It doesnt make sense! You are constantly saying this league is going nowhere, you tearing it down all the time isnt going to help it. Once again why are you in this league and hate it so much?

My job is to stop yours.

Thank God Someone Was Nice Enough To Put Me On Their Team!
