How come something that my dad and I'm sure lots of people play(ed) with their co-workers why can't roller hockey catch on and get this type of exposure?

Well, if you read the article, than you would know why its going to be a success right of the bat. Mike Schmidt was a big name in baseball. I would gaurantee that if say Gordie Howe started some kind of roller hockey league it would be a great success. It's all in the way somthing starts. Would you ever doubt Howe's hockey or Schmidt's baseball/softball knowalage? I wouldn't and I would think that most people would agree. In order for a true pro roller kockey league to go right away without a hitch, its going to take a well established name to be the forefront in the beggining.
