Thread: Fatigue

    Fatigue

During games, I often find myself running out of energy and becoming excessively tired. I consume proper amounts of fluid and do many stretches prior to each game, but still find my self to be tired within an hour or so. Any suggestions on fighting fatigue?

Well my friend, do you eat proper nutritious food prior to the game?

I always try and have some carbs before a game, which helps to give you energy. Plus, probably the more you play the more endurance you will build up.

Carbo load at least 12 hours before a game, as it typically takes your body at least that to properly digest and turn the nutrients into energy. Eating a large carb-loaded meal the night before a game is usually your best bet. Drink a lot of water during the day to hydro-load, and try eating some yogurt and a banana about 20 minutes before your game.
