Mission Hockey 2003

Just to tell all you guys, mission has updated its site with its 2003 skates. The skates look pretty sweet this year, I haven't checked out the new equipment yet though. Also in case you are curious the Vibe is gone. www.misisonrh.com

The skates look nice, but I am skeptical on how they perform in the rink. Look at the laces on the higher end DNA models, the laces are as thin as shoe laces!

Yeah but still the whole concept of the DNA boot sounds pretty cool, if it works. Anyways you can always buy new laces.

true. they r really sweet skates and i'm so glad they got rid of the vibes but if u look at wear u put the laces through it looks like those things will get rip out instead of having the eye holes

True it's a risk, but it can't be as bad as the vibes were. By the way has anybody found a site on the net selling the 2003's, all I found was greatskate.com and the best they had were D3's.

Here is my biggest gripe with them: I play wing a lot, and if I am skating quickly down on offense and then the play gets turned around thus making me make a quick sharp stop to get back on D. Well when I do this the vibe technology on the chassis clips the floor usually sending me straight to the ground.

A kid on my team has RTx's and the same thing happens to hime, but I don't think as often.

To all those who wanted to know a site where you could get some info about the 2003's. At hockeygear.com they are going to ship the same day they arrive from mission, plus the top of the line D limited's are a little cheaper than I expected only 500. Heres the link
