TORHS National Disaster

Did anyone go to the TORHS Nationals? Bad experience, unless you wer from Dtroit or like playing down in DIV II so you cna win rather than improve

Sounds like the rink I play at. Except my local rink has NO toilets, NO water fountain for spectators, NO AIR CONDITIONING, and NO HEAT IN THE WINTER!

Every year many complain how bad TORHS nationals are and every year Super Tony the Salesperson gets more teams. Quite frankly we all know by now every year the regional winners in strong roller hockey regions are going to be playing D2 when they are suppose to be in D1 because if your nice to Tony he will let you do what you want. TORHS will never be NARCH so dont expect it. Next year instead of complaining about TORHS do whats hurts TONY TORHS the most dont play in any of his tournaments, Choose another series, Try and qualify for NARCH, or ECHO, or USA INLINE NATIONALS, maybe even Coastal CUP or SIX PACK. Because TORHS will continue to disappoint if he keeps getting rich. Take a stand, Many California teams already have, There still playin a ton of hockey. My real guess is however next year TORHS will have another record turnout in number of teams.

We have a rink like that here too. Beats no rink at all though!
