Saw The New NARCh Player Magazine

Saw the new issue of NARCh Player magazine today in Detroit. Big pages all color and probably over 100 pages of great photos.

Cool. How many of the pages covered USA Hockey Inline, USARS, TORHS, ECHO, etc?

about as many pages as the programs for USA Hockey Inline, USARS, TORHS and ECHO put in their national programs

The name of the magazine is NARCh Player. Got it?

Now how many pages do you think?

However, if they did give USA Hockey Inline 2 pages, that's about one page more than USA Hockey gives inline in its own publication.

My point exactly. You've got manufacturers pouring hundreds of thousands of dollars into NARCh, which comprises the elite players, an obviously small subsection of the entire sport. How does this help inline hockey grow?

Ask the manufacturers, they obvioulsy believe in NARCH. Or get a job in marketing and find out for yourself.

I doubt they're putting those nice ads in the magazine without a reason.

No need to get personal. Sounds from the tone of your replies that you might work for NARCh. Which is cool; NARCh is a good organization.

My point is that the money NARCh (which comes from its sponsors) spends on a super glossy magazine for NARCh participants might better be spent on supporting the sport. What does NARCh give back? How are they help furthering the growth of the sport? Do they sponsor any grassroots programs?
