    Helmets

Anyone have any input on preferences for helmets for roller hockey?? Ex. Bauer 5000 vs CCM 500 VS Nike VS Mission VS Jofa 650. Any input on pros and cons from those who have these helmets would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi Kordykid,

I can't give you my preferences on inline hockey helmets, but I can give you a prize for posting topic # 1,000 on Inline Hockey Central's "Inline Hockey Forum" Message Board!

Other message boards may have more "flash," but I prefer the substance that readers bring to IHC's Message Board.

I have caps and T-shirts from Black Biscuit and Rocket Hockey, a large Black Biscuit camouflage jersey, or Jr.-sized Sammy Biscuit jerseys, in case you have a younger brother with a birthday coming up

Let me know what you might be interested in, and e-mail your mailing address to me at [email protected]. Congratulations!

Thanks to ALL of IHC's readers for their continued support.

    Sincerely,

    Re: Helmets

Many people complain that the mission helmet breaks easy but it actually does this on purpose. It only breaks when extreme pressure is applied and this it to relieve pressure on the head. I was skeptical at first, but it is true. I think it is the best helmet out on the market. I had to be given a great deal on my to even consider buying it but i am glad i did. By busting, the helmet reduces the stress on ur head, which in turn reduces the head truma. What sounds better a broken helmet or head truma? way worth the cost. I have had a couple concussions so protecting my melon is a big deal to me. Bauer does make a nice helmet, i have owned one, but the mission will give u better protection and u can also get a shinny chrome cage like mine and like all flashy.haha. very blinding look!
