hockey girdles- Vapor 8 or Mission Type M?

never used the type M but i use the vaopr 8 and love it. great protection. allows for great movement without sacrificing protection.

Mission Type M tends to ride up your thighs when u skate. I think this is because there's only an elastic strap that wraps around your lower thigh. I personally like the Mission Qualifier because of the light weight, breathability and most of all value without sacrificing protection.

I use the mbp8 I am not sure if its the same as the Vapor 8 or not but I used the mission wrap before and I like the Bauer a little better because it seems to have more protection. Other wise I actually like them both. I have never had a sliding problem with either of them and I like the fact that you can get a custom fit everytime with both of them.

I use the mbp girdle, and I must say that the fit and protection are great. I even got it on sale at Peranis.com

i use the mission, and i think that's perfect, it gives me all the protection that i need, and i haven't any problems with it.
But i don't used the bauer, and i can't compare the qualities.

I use the MPB Bauer girdle now, and was looking for a removable one (with skates still on). I just ordered the Vapor 8 girdle, and I assume that i'll be extremely happy with it. I have had Mission gear in the past, and was extremely unhappy with the quality- would start to fall apart after a couple months.
