    Biggest Surprises So Far

    1. Southeast Region - These guys have improved tremendously in the past year. If anyone saw NCTIII, the Southeast looked outmatched in nearly every game. Now they're beating some quality, high-ranked squads. Kudos, guys.

    2. Boston U - After upsetting MSU last year, they've been disappointing thus far. Did they lose a lot of seniors at the end of the season last year?

    3. Southwest Region - Another highly-improved region. Arlington gave defending national champs RIT some trouble early on, Texas has been playing well, and the rest of the region has looked pretty solid.

    4. Lindenwood - Not really all that surprising, but they dropped a bomb on BU in the first game of the tournament and look to be REALLY strong this year.

I wouldn't be all that surprised to see the same matchup in the finals as last year.

    What are your thoughts?

UTA definitely has surprised me - the entire SCHL, in fact, seems a lot stronger than last year. The southeast and southwest look to be catching up!
