Alkali Skate sizing
It has come time to grab some new skates - can anyone tell me how Alkali skate sizing matches up with Bauer? I know I am a 10.5 D in Bauer, but no idea how that translates into an Alkali boot.
I tried on their 10, which was too small. But they didn't have a 10.5 at the shop to see whether it was going to be OK, or too small (there are none in Australia to try on, I found these by chance at a tourney in New Zealand)
The notes like "1 to 1.5 sizes smaller than your shoe size" aren't much use - maybe for playing rec hockey where a sloppy boot is OK but not for higher level play.
How does the pitch on these compare to an XR60 or a Mission Wicked 1 (these were my favourite for performance, though they killed my ankles)? I liked the more aggressive feel of the missions
