Cool Blind & visually impaired Hockey

Howdy! from the Blue Mooses Blind Hockey Club in El Paso, Texas. We are looking for anybody out there who plays in or knows of a club that plays hockey with blind and/or visually impaired athletes.

Our program is but two months old, but we're working hard at developing this as a full sport for disabled players, and so far, it's going pretty well.

We are working with the USABA and have contacted the Vancouver Eclipse, the Montreal Hiboux, the Toronto Ice Owls, and the Calgary Ice Dogs. A short news piece from our local paper: http://www.elpasotimes.com/living/ci...-impaired.html

If you are part of a blind hockey program, or know of one, or MORE IMPORTANTLY would like to start one, please get with us. My email is [email protected]. We are even looking at promoting this toward becoming a para Olympic sport. Love to have you join the party.

    Thanks! for your interest.

    sincerely,

    DannyG
