Roller Hockey Sticks
I play casual outdoor roller hockey on a finished concrete surface. Living on Long Island, the sticks that I have been buying are CCM, Koho, and Hespeler with wood blades. I guess these sticks are primarily for ice hockey use. I seem to breaking a lot of stick, particularly on slap shots. Are there sticks made exclusively for roller hockey that would hold up better? I hope they aren't the cheap looking plastic blade sticks I've seen. What brands are better than others for what I'm looking for? Any help to a rookie would be appreciated. Thank you.

Re: Roller Hockey Sticks
Koho are usually pretty good...they have the plastic insert in the heel of the stick. I use Easton shafts, and I find that the Graphite blades work well, the Montreal M95 blade is also good. The CCM 1052 blade is a great one. The Louisville Genesis, and the Graphite blades are both great too.
There really aren;t sticks made for inline hockey, you'll just have to keep trying untill you find one that stays together!
Good Luck!
