**THIS IS A NON-PROFIT LEAGUE,"EVERYTHING" GOES BACK TO THE PLAYERS**
Hi all Locals or anyone who is willing to travel to
Massachussetts -&- are interested in joining our "STIGA"
Table Hockey league. "KENNY DUBOIS"current National Stiga Table
Hockey Champion from Lowell,Massachussetts, will be assisting -&-
organizing this league.(he will not be playing as of yet, not
until we
have a larger advanced group that he can compete with,"HOPEFULLY
VERY SOON")MAYBE SOME OF YOU ADVANCED PLAYERS WOULD LIKE TO
TRAVEL OUT SOMETIMES TO COMPETE IN OUR MONTHLY TOURNEY,IT WOULD
HELP TO PROMOTE THE SPORT IN KENNY'S HOME STATE).I am trying to
promote the sport as much as possible with websites and local
newspaper adds,as well as word of mouth.Our league will be held
once a week($3.00-$5.00 per week dues,ALL DUES GOTO A PARTY AT
END OF SEASON,day to be announced). Each team playing 3-8 games
per night every week(MAKE-UP GAMES ALWAYS AVAILABLE,we understand
everyone can't always be there).As it stands,It will be held in
Lowell,Ma.,Dracut Ma., or Billerica,Ma. .....We are working on
having them at Dracut Deck Hockey Arena,or a local Hockey
Rink,but I am not sure yet,I'll keep you posted.We are hoping a
lot will show up for our "Monthly Tournament" so we can have a
good cash prize for the top 3,plus trophies(50 X $20.00 is
$1,000.00 to give out for prize money,the league doesn't keep
a dime).(I have about 15 to 20 people interested
locally,hopefully more when word gets around)***THIS WILL NOT BE
A POORLY RUN LEAGUE,IT WILL BE RUN BY PROFESSIONAL TABLE HOCKEY
PLAYERS, SOME THAT HAVE BEEN TO TOURNAMENTS AROUND THE WORLD***So
if you are a serious table hockey player,or want to be,EVEN IF
YOU ARE A BEGINNER,THIS IS THE LEAGUE FOR YOU.We will have "A"
and a "B" division to keep it fair.We are shooting for the week
of April 1st to start the league up.THIS LEAGUE IS JUST STARTING
OUT,BUT WE HAVE REAL BIG PLANS FOR THIS SPORT IN OUR AREA,SO COME
HELP OUT IF YOU CAN!!!!Everything listed are ideas that we will
build on and will work hard to make them possibble, hopefully
