Drills and equipment recommendations
Hello,
I wonder if someone can point me to a training plan for inline hockey, especially skating drills accompanied by an explanation about the proper way to execute them. I've been playing ice hockey at amateur level and now that the ice season is almost over, I want to switch to inline hockey. However, I'm having a hard time with the transition and my wheels seem to get glued to the floor... it's quite frustrating.
I'm skating outdoors on the Bauer RX:20 with Labeda Asphalt wheels (2x76mm+2x80mm). Was this skate a good acquisition? It seems quite soft and unstable in comparison to the ice skates I use.
Should I get a banana setup with the hilo frame, like 72-76-80-76? What do the professional players use? I want to learn it the right way.
Thanks!
