Can someone please tell me why on earth the ecrha tie breaker system for pool play comes down to higher seed?? That is the most assenine thing I've ever seen. Regionals means playoffs which means regular season means nothing. It should be GAA or even GF.

Uconn towson and Neumann all got screwed by this method. Uconn and Neumann should clearly be the winers of their pools.
Ecrha rep have an explaination for this very wrong system?

hockeykid12, no need to be mad because your Neumann team that you talk about in every single post and clearly you play for them didnt make it. Regardless, of how it was set up they should be able to overcome anything by the way you talk about them on here.

so who do we think played there way in or out of nationals after this weekend?

Personally- played there way out ---> Hofstra and West Point and played there way in ----> Uconn and Towson

I think the east gets:

SBU
NU
TU
Uconn

well it all goes by total points not really opinion based so the real question would be how many teams make it from the east, the order is already set.. and even though hofstra went 1-3 they lost to 3 top teams all by 1 goal
