Thread: SECRHL Regionals

    SECRHL Regionals

should be interesting this year. There is a lot more disparity in the divisons this year from past years. More D1 teams, a more even D2 field and a B pool(is this the first time?)

I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts. Here's my opinion this year.

    D1:
I'd love to see anyone but Bethel win but its hard to argue with a 17 game win streak in the SECRHL. So i've got them winning the whole thing. Its the power of those SWEET purple helmets they got for free yall. FOR FREE. My instinct tells me it'll be George Mason playing them in the championship, but you can never count out UCF. I'll take Mason though...so 1) Bethel 2) GMU 3) UCF 4) FGCU.

    D2:
I know originally USC was offered a bid but declined, so I think? GT is taking that spot. To be honest, it's really between uf,ksu, uncc IMO. I see UF beating KSU in the finals with uncc finishing "3rd".

    B:
UCF, CCU, ECU. CCU gives UCF a run for their money in the championship game but UCF balls too hard.

    that **** cray.

I'm not making any predictions, but I like our chances. DI team will come to play and B is finally gelling and getting one of our top players back who didn't play in Chantilly this past weekend. Should be a great weekend. Looking forward to it.

D1 - Bethel has to be the heavy favorite. Only chance is to play real physical game and try to get their guys scared and off their game. Most physical team (CCU) is not there either to rattle them up. Mason and UCF i think have only shot.

D2 - Kennesaw and Florida, enough said. USC guys didn't come cause they knew they would get destroyed and didn't want to waste the money.

B - Probably the most competitive of all divisions this weekend but still neither ECU nor CCU has anything for UCF. Only chance for one of those teams is to play very strong team control game and have a hot goalie.

I'm confused? Dont have anything? ECU and CCU both tied UCF. I think your being a little biased there. Both ECU and CCU had strengthened their teams since opening weekend as well.

D1- You have to like Bethel. I would love to see someone knock them off but UCF or NCST wont have a shot. Only GMU or ECU will have a chance and it looks like GMU has played Bethel the closest. Final: GMU vs. Bethel winner: Bethel
D2- Definitely UF. KSU has had problems staying consistent. UNC Char could possibly make a run for it but would have to catch UF napping. Final: KSU vs. UF winner: UF
B- Most likely UCF. ECU and CCU have a shot for sure. Final: UCF vs. CCU winner: UCF

FGCU played Bethel once and lost 4-3 after being ahead for a majority of the game. Bethel may be favorited but its going to be very competitive....Anyone can beat anyone in D1...

    Re: SECRHL Regionals

I watched the SECRHL Regionals this past weekend and the action was immense. D1- UCF Shocked the hell out of fans with their intensity and played Bethel to an awesome OT game which could have gone either way. D2- Yes, KSU had problems staying consistant but seems to me they never had their full roster either. Kennesaw is clearly above all other teams in D2 and I see them making a mark at nationals. #9 is sick

    Re: SECRHL Regionals

UCF B is gonna come close to winning nationals. They are a really good team and play very well together.

What happened to UF??? I thought they were the best D2 team and I thought they couldve won this thing but got whomped by UNCC and then 8-7 against FSU in the semis. sounds like a real goalie battle..... (not really). Expected more from them. according to game scores, it looks like FSU really showed up to play this weekend. Even though they beat us (USF) this season, i didnt think they wouldve made it to the finals but congrats to them.

it was nice to see UCF come back from an 8-3 loss against bethel early in the weekend and then show up in the finals to bring them to overtime. that was probably an amazing game to watch.

Best of luck to everyone going to nationals

    Re: SECRHL Regionals

Just wanted to pop in and say good luck to all of the SECRHL teams at Nationals. Defend our DII title for us and bring it back to the Southeast.

Not bad for the 2nd alternate...
