The Delco Demons are ecstatic to announce the hiring of Head Coach, Brian Sobel. Brian will be in charge of both Elite and Minor rosters, providing top notch leadership and direction on and off the rink, and adding a significant amount of experience to the already seasoned leadership group of the Demons. He will handle all player personnel decisions, including roster selection at tryouts in September.

Brian brings to the table years of experience at the highest level and his background makes him the ideal candidate for the Demons Head Coaching position. Most recently, Brian has spent over a year in Namibia, heading their National Roller Hockey program, and coaching the country's teams of all ages at the international level. In addition, he has helped build the West Chester University roller hockey program into one of the elite clubs in the nation, both on and off the rink, highlighted by multiple regional and national championships in the D2 and B divisions of the NCRHA. In addition, Brian can be found coaching numerous NARCh and TORHS tournaments dating back as far as anyone can remember.

Demon's GM Bill Sherwood, on his choice for Head Coach: "Brian represents the best of what Roller Hockey has to offer. His personality and values are the perfect starting point to build this program around. Over the years, I can honestly say I've never met anyone in this sport so universally respected and loved by those who have had the pleasure of playing for him or working with him. I'm proud to announce Sobel will be taking the reigns of our new organization, and look forward to a promising season ahead."





Delco Demons Tryouts to be held Saturday, September 17th from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM, and Sunday, September 18th from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

If you think you have what it takes to compete on a national level, we want to see what you've got to offer. Every spot on the AIHL Elite and Minor roster is open and up for grabs.

Registration is required for tryouts. Advanced registration is $50 and walk-on registration is $75. Payments are due the morning of tryouts, and accepted by cash or check (made payable to The Hockey Dek). Players must attend the Saturday session without advanced notice of conflict. Players are expected to arrive one hour before tryouts to allow time for final registration and processing, and are expected to be ON THE FLOOR at the posted start time.
