Fundraising Ideas?

It looks like this year is going to be the first year that my team has to fundraise. I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for fundraisers we could do on-campus, or anything that has worked really well.

(we can't really do the ironman tournaments or anything like that)

We have sold Pizza at the pick up and drop off point for the School Bus that takes students to the grove (where everyone goes to drink) and back. just set up from midnight to 3 AM with a bunch of pizza and sell them for 2-3 dollars a slice. you can make some money pretty quick.

Also most Wal-Mart's and target's will allow you to set up a table and ask for donations in front of their store. some will even double whatever you get.

You could also sell your jerseys to people and charge an extra $10 and tell them the money goes to support the team.

I wear my Canes jersey to panthers games for this exact reason. I always sell atleast 1-2 every game I go to.

Also, it can't hurt to send an email to Alumni.

Alumni could each give $50. i know if the team asked me after i graduate id help out.
Also, if youre run through a Student Association, the VP, Prez and Club Coordinator usually have budgets to help clubs.

Also, we have a big student union. Dress up a (good) goalie and have them take 3 shots and if they make two give them a $5 gift card. Most kids would want to just shoot.
Also, most restaurantes offer fundraisers, you can hand out flyers and the club gets 10% of applebees pancake breakfast,

Biggest thing is to make sure all your players know they need to help out if they want money. Cause a lot of this stuff can be fun if everyone goes

Every year we find one of those $1.99 tshirt guys online. You end up having to buy 144 usually. Sell them for 10 bucks each, and after shipping and all that, you only have to sell about 30 to break even. We have a few teams, so that's about one per guy that they have to sell. After that, each one is straight profit. You can make over a grand if you manage to sell all of them. Even if you don't, you can make a few hundred bucks, have some promotional items, and have stuff for guys to wear around campus and at events to promote the team.

Having a bake sale – bake sales are great for fundraising because they don’t take much time to prepare. It consists of selling baked goods in a public place like the school or elsewhere. Doing a bake sale for your school is a very cool idea to raise money for your school. A bake sale can include selling pastries, muffins, and cupcakes to the nearby community in your city. Other items on the menu can include rice crispy squares, chocolate covered donuts, and home baked cake. Try to have a good variety of items to offer at your bake sale so that there is something for everyone. When you have a lot of different baked goods your bake sale will be that much more successful.
