poor kid, hopefully he'll make it over to the tournament it should be a good one this year (better than the rink last year in NZ, it was smooth but uncovered concrete!! I wore through 3 S17s in the 5 days of that tournament).

Perhaps if he checks the local pawn shops he'll find it - one rink in Sydney used to be notorious for people's gear getting stolen. One day our goalie played in the morning, went back in to watch a game, had it stolen from the car, recovered it at the local pawn shop - still sweaty, and played in it THAT afternoon.

"Yeah, mate, right. It's still gonna cost ya (whatever sweaty, used goalie gear costs). See you next week."
