not sayin that everyone does but heard some comments about the fact the have buses, their own, rink, nice jerseys, and ppl are talkin about it like its a bad thing.

no body cares, its just a jealousy thing that the school hooks up the team and not their team like that, good for bethel, its a mini lindenwood just not as productive and historic as lu has been.

I think it is humorous how everyone is comparing them to Lindenwood, and how they are not as productive as Lindenwood or made history like Lindenwood. This is the teams first year and are doing great for a first year team. How are you suppose to make history in 8 games compared to what 9 national championships in a row? No comparison, but thanks for coming out

people hate them because they are a DII team that has full funding from its schools athletic department and everyone is on scholarship. combine that with the fact that there best player is a tool who talks **** all game and takes cheap shots at the other team and you have everyone hating them

So you hate a team because the school is willing to put money into their sport in order for them to succeed? Nevermind I get it, you are just upset because you do not have the talent to be recognized by a school who does offer scholarships for inline. Jealousy...

ya it just seems like the other schools talk trash first and the funding thing prolly has alot to do with it but as you said its a first year team not sure how well they was gonna do first year im sure next year they will have a DI team next year. Not to put out their business, and for the whole being a tool not to sure about that whats being a tool when you're getting cheap shot and you answer back? And so what its a small private school that doesnt know crap about hockey, but they stand behind their athletes. Its funny though cant remember what team it was but a player got hurt and the bethel trainer went to help them out.................

Yes I have to agree, I think it is a dumb idea not being the coach and using his name. It makes the whole program look like a joke.

As for the "tool" of the team. I have witnessed the tired old tactic of "going after" the team's best player with cheap shots, both physical and verbal to get him out of the game. Miami did it, ECU did it, NCST did it and GMU did it. He made the mistake of falling into the trap during the Miami game. I heard he apologized to the team and coach and it hasn't happened since.

As for all the hating and jealousy of Bethel, why not embrace it? Why not use it as an example to your school's administration of what other schools are providing? As an opportunity to possibly convince those in charge what they should being providing and doing for your team?

First Lindenwood, now Bethel, who is next? Maybe is continues to keep growing to benefit more and more teams.

i do find it hilarious that they have "signings" pictured on their website as if they are doing something thats a really big deal. but good for them if the school funds them like that, i guess thats what 30k a year gets you. fyi, their uni's are uglier than sin. just sayin.

Ya funny thing is that i used his name because im a fan of what he is doing at the school and for the state of TN........ Because of Coach Swiena Bethel is the first tn school to give out roller hockey scholarships. If you can read my user name says swiena fan #2 not coach swiena and the other fact is im not part of the team either i just keep up with what is going on in my town. Also how does it make them look unprofessional because i used his name its not like ive been trash talking other teams or players themselves?????? Its just a blog stop crying..... fyi this is the last you will be hearing from swienafan#2 goodbye cry babies
