MLRH will expand next fall of 2010

"Major League roller hockey will expand in 2010 and that expansion into new markets and we are also very excited that the fall of 2010 will bring us new teams, existing teams who are moving on from other programs and a solid future", Bill Raue president had to say.

MLRH has plans to expand into Southern California with a new division and to also announce new franchises in Illinois and Michigan to begin play in fall of 2010. MLRH is also working on a "Empire state" division which would include teams from the New York state.

The 2010 MLRH schedule will be carefully crafted as not to interfere with PIHA, NARCh, Torhs, Tour Cup and Echo tournaments. "We want to support the major tournaments and encourage our teams to participate in those as well", Raue added.

This weekend in Irvine, at the 949 roller hockey center, the Pama Cyclones whose own Itan Chavira is now a west coast development person for MLRH are playing the amazing and star studded AKS Empire who have just added Nathan Sigmund.

With the sights on the horizon for the fall of 2010, and an existing facility in Michigan with two new expansion teams, the future for MLRH is brighter than ever!
