The teams will announce these dates on their own. The AIHL website will have a free agent form for interested players to fill out which will automatically inform the teams and the site will also post tryout info as it becomes available.

Was that really needed? and you wonder why This sport has issues.

If someone is looking to come into the league is that how you greet them?

Agreed. A less than diplomatic response.

Whiz- Like Flynn said, keep an eye on the site. Also, if there are teams that play out of your local rinks, there is a a good chance they will post some flyers or posters at the rink. It may also be good to get in touch with the owners of your local teams. Some of the teams in the past have done some workouts prior to the tryouts. Good luck.

Guys relax... Jack wasn't blasting anyone just joining here. He's not like that. The season just ended, it'll be a couple weeks before squads start releasing info of any sort for next season.

just like guys dont know me and take me the wrong way.

I am trying to be more politically correct save us all....lol

Thanks Frank. Yea I wasn't trying to not greet anyone into the league, he played for the Surge last year. Just saying the season just got over, and I'm sure there isn't anything set-up tryout or scheduling wise 2 weeks after the finals concluded.

Has nothing to do with what is or isn't wrong with the sport.

    Ok ........

Yo brotha I was not bashing you at all, but come on has nothing to do with the sport yes it does......

All you cared about the league finishing and resting, brotha building an empire doesnt rest at all.........

You can address me, I am not here to argue with you at all.......

And I have never met you..... I dont think, but how would you feel being interested in a league that has more "clicks" than the MOVIE.......

I am not the smartest man or the best coach or the best player that has ever played roller hockey........

All I am now is a man that misses this sport and his only voice now...is to be heard on this board thanks to Richard.........

So Please give a person a chance to enjoy this sport...... like I was able too, being hazed by all the tough PRO players that greeted me with the belief THAT we would play forever............

I have pissed a lot of people off, only my past teammates know the true me.....

I have been on the end of paying for a tryout, knowing I would not make the team, just to contribute to rink time....USED but wanted to be part of the team that I didnt care.......

Then I was coaching and part owner and just wanted the money to cover costs, giving false hope that everyone would have a chance to make the team.....letting some better players not pay at all.....

And what men say that have paid their dues......really does matter

Jack I am sure your a great teammate, friend, and very loyal to the sport.......

Thank you for being committed to our sport......... and please believe in everyone that has an interest.....

Thank you for reading my opinion

    Re: try outs?

Nate in my opinion you are right as well as wrong.

I will announce my teams tryouts when I am ready. Right now I have other things on my mind and just overall need a break from operating my team as I am sure the other owners do since the season ended 10 days ago.

People will announce their tryouts when they are ready too.

I guess you and everybody else will have to wait patiently.
