Georgia Syndicate hosts last festival before the AIHL SE - Gulf Division Playoffs!
The Georgia Syndicate organization is preparing for the last festival of the season before the AIHL Southeast-Gulf Divisional play-offs begin. They are hosting the Mississippi Rolling Surge, the Cajun Voo Doo and the Texas Terror the weekend of April 17 & 18, 2010.
The festival is being played at the SGAA Dual Deck Arena in Snellville, GA and the Elite and Minor AIHL teams will take to the rink to larger than normal crowds hopefully sitting in the stands. At the same time the festival is being played, SGAA is also hosting a youth invitational inline tournament on the other rink surface. Teams from Florida, Alabama, Georgia and North Carolina will be thrilled by the fast paced action from the 4 AIHL organizations.
The festival will start Saturday morning at 9:00am and finish up around 10:00pm that evening. Sunday's games will start at 9:00am and finish up close to noon.
With the invitational inline hockey tournament games going on the Georgia Syndicate organization has decided to “throw open” the doors to allow all spectators and fans to FREE AIHL Hockey. This may educate more players about the league and get a deeper following in the southeast for the immediate future of our sport. If you are in the Atlanta area the weekend of April 17th & 18th come on out to some great youth and adult inline hockey.
SGAA Dual Deck Arena is located at 2115 McGee Road, Snellville, GA 30078.
The Southeast-Gulf Division Championships are scheduled to held in Gulfport, MS the weekend of May 1st & 2nd with the Elite and Minor Champions receiving bids to the AIHL Championships Memorial Day weekend in Disney.
See you at the rink,
Ronnie Williams
