With nationals coming up...let's see if we can get a list of top games that have gone on...

The top of the list has to be a toss up of any game uc irvine played in 2008 when they were carried by a short bench or the umsl upset of lindenwood...

I was just about to say the same thing. One game I would throw out there was last year in d2 first round elimination between truman state and tampa. Tampa was winning 5-2 going into the third and truman made it 5-5 within 3:30 of the period. Truman would then score a goal just after the buzzer went to end regulation. Tampa would win 6-5 about 10 minutes into the first ot on the power play.

West Chester vs. Missouri State 2008 in Colorado. Playoff game not sure of the round but it went into 2 overtimes and west chester scored with about a minute left in the 2nd overtime. Final was 3-2. One of the best games I have ever seen.

Towson - Michigan State - 2006

I think it was a Final Four game. Game was tight in the first period, before Michigna State pulled away in the second. Towson scored 3 or 4 straight to get within one in the final minute of the game. Towson then took a bad penatly to end the game, but instead of giving up, they rallied and scored a Shorty.

Michigan State then went and scored on the PP in the final seconds of the game to win it. It was very exciting.

Shippensburg Brockport 06

Brockport scored 8 goals in 5 minutes in a 12-1 win.

West Chester vs. Missouri State 2008 in Colorado. Playoff game not sure of the round but it went into 2 overtimes and west chester scored with about a minute left in the 2nd overtime. Final was 3-2. One of the best games I have ever seen.

I remember waiting to play the game after this one and West Chester needing water. Shippensburg gave them some water bottles and won. Shippensburg beat Tampa in overtime to be in position to play the next game. Must be something in the water bottles.

However, the game was ended about a minute into the second overtime.

Uc riverside vs st Charles d3 championship was a great Game I think it was in north Carolina. Some games that i played were hofstra vs Neumann in the first Colorado and the umsl Neumann d2 championship

What about Hofstra vs Neumann in Regionals right before Colorado. That game was epic especially considering Hofstra was an underdog and Neumann was so favored. Neumann got Hofstra back at Nationals, but the Regionals tourny that year in the East was something else.

Which Neumann-UMSL game? There were 2 of them. Both were awesome games. The one in 04 was better. Dory Williams scores a hat trick with under 2 minutes left to break a 3-3 tie (as he's being tripped) I'll have to throw that one up on the internet. It was ridiculous. Gary Todd also missed about 3 or 4 wide open one timers that would've pushed the Knights over the top.

The rematch was also awesome. You guys owned that game, really wanted it. We didn't wake up til it was too late.

Greatest matchup that didn't happen was when Nattys were in STL and Stony Brook beat us in the final four or it would've been an UMSL-SLU matchup in St. Louis. That was when the teams were big rivals, too...

I wasn't there for the first neumann umsl game but I did see the video of him scoring the game winner and it was a really awesome play.

I second Geno on that. It was one of the worst calls I have ever seen in all of hockey.
