    2010 PIHA Finals

Congratulations to the Colorado Springs Thunder and New Jersey Grizzlies for making it to the 2010 PIHA Finals! The defending champion Thunder return to the finals for the second year in a row after dispensing of the Parker Prowlers in 3 games in the best-of-5 conference finals. The Grizzlies defeated the number 1 team in the east, the Suffolk Sting, in an exciting 5 games to send them on their first trip to the PIHA Finals.

The 2010 PIHA Finals will be held at the Tour Arena in Colorado Springs, CO on February 19-21. This will be a best-of-7 series with games 1 & 2 at 8pm on Friday, games 3 & 4 at 8pm on Saturday, and games 5, 6, & 7 (if necessary) beginning at 11am on Sunday. All game times are Mountain Time. All games will be broadcast live on www.justin.tv/PIHA, so if you can't make it to the rink, be sure to tune in and watch all the action.

The Thunder return to the finals with many of their team from last year on the roster again. They will be led by league-leading scorer Brian Yingling as well as the familiar face of CJ Yoder. Dan Lamb is once again backstopping them in net.

The Grizzlies make their first appearance with league runner-up in scoring, Robbie Fulton, leading the way. Denis Jelcic will bring his years of coaching experience to try and put away the defending champions.

This looks to be a great matchup so don't miss any of the action. Tickets will be available at the door and weekend passes will also be available.

The weekend will also feature the top four minor league teams - 2 from the east and 2 from the west - battling it out to see who will be crowned the minor league champions for 2010. These games will also be on www.justin.tv/PIHA. There will be plenty of action at the Tour Arena so don't miss out.
