Unfortunately Tampa won't be playing Miami. That would have been a good game. Also would have liked to see FSU vs. Miami or even FSU vs GSU...

In my opinion the USF team is the team to watch this tournament to see the new additions to their team. Every single one of their games should be competitive. Also, should be interesting to see how UCF (B) does against some of the best D2 teams in the SECRHL.

Tampa should run the table on a fairly soft schedule, with the exception of USF.

Miami vs. USF should be interesting, Miami should go 3-1 if they beat USF.

USF's "new ice hockey recruits" that they have been talking about should be there. Should be interesting games against Tampa, Miami, FSU, and UCF(B) The FSU vs. USF game will be large for determining seedings at Regionals.

FSU will probably go 2-2 losing to CF and USF (VT is the toughest team they've beat)Although FSU does get a break playing USF on USF's 3rd game of the day, if USF tries to play this tournament with 8 skaters they could lose to FSU.

GSU better beat UF or they will go 0-4 as they have one of the toughest schedules this weekend.

UF has two competitive games vs FSU and GSU and needs to win both if they want to keep their slim hopes of regionals alive. They will probably lose to Miami and Tampa.

Skated with USF last night after what was an interesting open skate before they let us use the rink.. right steve and nick? haha.. USF for the first time in years will have 8 skaters. That should help them. They have on of their new ice hockey guys coming and Mikey D will be there as well. They will for sure not be as worn out. I say that because steve regan is clearly old and out of shape lol

last night, it was proven that UT has terrible players and cant seem to score on USF's starting goaltender. it seems like they shouldve been skating with the dark crowd that had the rink before us. haha. When i practice with them tomorrow night, we'll see if they can put a few behind me. this is my attempt to trash talk for this weekend even though it probably wont matter. this weekend should be fun but we (USF) has to pick up our record in the attempts of going to regionals and doing well.

I would suggest to everybody to have no faith when it comes to USF winning a game this weekend. Everybody backed out today to come this weekend. It would have been nice to be competitive but it looks like we are gonna be battling with 7 guys. Yay!

Since there's no updating from the rink on scores and such, FAU and UCF tie again 2-2. In a reversal from Ft Myers, FAU dominates game and UCF goalie steals a point for UCF. Rematch tomorrow morning 10AM.

How does FAU dominate a game in which they get outshot 41-29? Dominated first period yes, but not the whole game. Dan Moon did have some great saves throughout though.

Two real good games this weekend against FAU. FAU scored the game-tying goal in the second game with 3 seconds left.

As much as I would love to inflate my stats, the shots are switched on the website, and our own personal stat manager confirmed the incorrect postings online.

I think we had the edge in the first game, and the second game shifted back and forth. Both games in Ft Myers the edge was all you guys. Should be interesting at Regionals, they have already said we will not be playing each other again in Ft Myers in two weeks.
