    Re: NARHL or MLRH?

I think if you refer back to posts around this time last year, you'll see this argument about MLRH and all the "other" leagues at the time.

Basically, I'm in favor of neither, as neither has shown any sort of ability to maintain credibility yet. Granted the NARHL is new, but could we at least hear more of what the hell is going on? At least MLRH holds meetings and announces the results; whether good or bad.

Secondly, why there are two leagues ie beyond me. How NARHL is going to operate with one division being 300 miles in diameter, is beyond me. How MLRH plans on bring back the fans after last year's postseason disasters, is beyond me.

Ok I'm done ranting now. Oh, I should mention I play in one of the leagues. And be on the lookout for a new league next April, if you haven't already heard.

I think that Speed Demon is mistaken on the one division with a 300 mile radius. There are going to be 2 divisions one operating in the NY/NJ/PA area and the other operating within the Great Lakes area. I think that one reason that the NARHL is holding back on press releases is due to making sure all the ducks are in a row before they announce anything. I think everyone that regularly visits this message board saw the problem with the "National Inline Hockey League" all these people got excited and the guy finally folded under the pressure. Personally I think it says a lot to get some of the most influential teams in the MLRH to move to the NARHL. I am a player in the NARHL and have had great relations with not only the president but with other teams in the league. I am looking forward to the upcoming season and what lies ahead for the NARHL. In the near future I hope that these leagues will be able to turn into one great league that these players that are currently in the 12-16 year age group, that are doing things that most decent players can do, have a premier league to play in. I am personally staying with the NARHL and have a great feeling about the people that we as a team are dealing with.

What new league is coming in April, and from what I learned last time is it someone reliable?

Yes, two of the main backers are current World Team championship coaches and GM's.

Look for more information later on this winter.

What do these guys play for? Do they have contracts or do they play for a prize pool?
