MLRH New look and changes for 2010
It's with extreme excitement I announce MLRH, Major league roller hockey is undergoing a complete facelift for the New Year.
Recently, MLRH named a board of directors to help meet the owners and franchises needs and implement them with the ability to market the players in this sport who are our future.
The goal of this board is to focus on making the players and stars of MLRH the most recognizable players in our sport. The League plans to do so by re-inventing itself with a strong marketing campaign focusing on each franchises' marquee players and their accomplishments.
With these changes will be the announcement of a head referee, a disciplinary and rules enforcement committee. This includes enforcement at all three levels, MLRH2, AAA and AA.
MLRH also recognizes PIHA and AIHL as successful and prominent leagues in the sport and wishes to work with them to promote the players who are our foundation for growth at all levels. Regardless of what league and how many players are participating in, we need to focus on getting youth players excited about these players and their performances around the world.
Our goal is to promote our players and make them every day household names for people living in MLRH markets.
With this, franchises in MLRH will be receiving guidance and help with reaching out to their local markets, schools and media, to promote their games and product without cost absorbed by the owners.
In moving forward, I want to thank Bill Raue for having the vision and dedication to reach out to empower a board and to drive the league forward to help grow the sport.
Look back for our website and announcements coming in 2010.
Good luck to the teams this weekend!
