is the all star weekend still the first weekend of the second semester like it was last year? and if so, shouldn't we be voting on something?

The All-Star format was change to accommodate a schedule of 81 games that needed to be played. In years past the event was slightly smaller in terms of game wise and w couldn't really budget (time wise) for more ASG's without having 6am and 12pm game start times and that is generally something that nobody wants.

As a result, the number of potential all-stars from each team went from 2/3 in years past, to were the majority of teams are only sending one player. At that point we decided to pick the teams ourselves. There was input from some coaches/staff that determined the teams.

The teams/information on the games will be posted shortly. I was planning on having internet access this weekend and finding some time during my family ski trip, however, the router died and being in the middle of the woods its not just like you can go out and pick one up at the local chain store.

Yeah, no thanks to 6am games. Having two 7ams is bad enough.
