How close are MSU and Central? Looks like CMU has a pretty stacked roster, just not very deep. MSU looks to be the same as last year, but their goaltending situation is noticeably weaker.

Also, what has happened to Michigan?

MSU has a pretty deep team this year with the addition of Andrew James as well as three freshman who are more than capable of playing on top lines throughout the league. They did lose 4 year starter Joe Wurst between the pipes, but have two monsters to take his place.

CMU has a ton of talent in Bara, Yoko, Dare and Spezia, but that's it. They're on the floor the whole game and it shows in the 2nd and 3rd periods, especially against MSU. It should be noted that Spezia did not play this past weekend when MSU beat CMU twice (9-4, 4-2).

Michigan has fallen off the map this year. They were held together last year by Seth Rogers and were basically a one-man team. They lost their 4 year starting goalie in Goldberg as well as key forward James Arakaki.
