your from st louis one of the few remaining roller hockey areas that the aihl is not in. If you look at nearly every other location nation wide PIHA is not doing very well. The Gateway division is the last life line of PIHA... that division is keeping the PIHA from crumbling.

    By my estimations:
    • PIHA will have 16 pro teams this year
    • AIHL will have 44 teams (in its second season)

I think the numbers say it all
I am very interested to see how PIHA restructures its Eastern Conference....will it be 1 4 team division and 1 3 team division or one 7 team division (where york and harrisburg will have to travel to play the blaze.... more than 5 hours of travel for 48 minutes of hockey... im sure everyone would be happy about that.)

    Agreed

PIHA's website has six pro teams announced as of today and if im not mistaken its supposed to start soon.

Blaze are not having a team in 2009-2010.

They were booked to play in our preseason jamboree this past weekend and bailed last minute. Said they are not having a team this year.

Not starting a rumor. This is what I was told. No reasons given.

I was also told the NJ Assualt will be back as well. Don't take my word on that though just was told that at my last practice.

Doug, I usually agree with you aboit most things you say, but your last two posts here are a bit hypocritical. you preach that we all should support our own leagues, but when DCBullets14 was making a statement that he believes AIHL is better and you reply to him that he is drinking the AIHL koolaid. It wasnt that long ago, and maybe even still, that people could accuse you of drinking the PIHA koolaid. I may not be a big poster on here or have the "pull" that you do in hockey circle, but I do want everyone to be able to play hockey if they want to, and if that means giving an opinion one way or the other to inform a new person then Im all for it.

Include not exclude all comments and opinions is the way we should think, not exclude one league because it wasn't put in the title to the thread.

BTW, I signed my name below.

Then again, post in the AIHL thread about how great AIHL is. You don't see me in there disrupting or running around with a PIHA/MLRH banner telling everyone how great the leagues are.

There's a difference. We all know there are three leagues. Those of us who choose to be where we are, also respect the fact that we shouldn't disrupt the posts of others involved in that league, because we aren't a part of it and the teams who are there, wish to be. So, again, you won't see me in a post for the other league breaking up people's conversations or opinions because I want to wave a PIHA/MLRH flag.

I appreciate you signing your name to your words. I respect that.
