Youth Inline summer leagues in South Jersey?

Does anyone know of one?

My 9yr old son has been saying that he doesn't want to wait until Oct (when his winter ice league begins) to play in a league of some sort.

If anyone has any ideas, please advise.

I've checked the Choice Inline website already (and called/left message with no return call) and the info available there is only for Fall registration...

they do have summer leagues at choice inline. I'm not sure but its possible the guy in charge of hockey there is in Florida right now coaching at the nationals. Where in south jersey are you?

probably wont be any youth leagues until fall. person in charge is in FLA until after july 4th weekend, which most likely explains why you havent received a phone call back

Actually, that's not a real solid explanation. Shouldn't someone have called me back, even to tell me that this gentleman's away??

Background: I called in early June to inquire about summer inline for my son and was specifically told by the lady who answered the phone to "call back in a few weeks because there's no summer schedule posted yet...". I found that to be sort of odd, given that it was already June, but ok, I'll take her word. I called back 3 weeks later --to the day-- and left a voice message which was not returned. I have tried calling each day since (roughly 4 days in a row) and have gotten the same outgoing message I heard when leaving my voicemail so I've opted not to leave another one.

View this how like, defend it if you feel the need to, but the bottom line is, I was AT LEAST due a call back from SOMEONE, especially after having gotten half-baked information from the person answering the phone on my initial call.

That's a bush-league way of doing business, period and I'm entitled to be miffed.

I guess my son will just need to wait until ice winter league starts; it's a shame though because although I don't care for playing roller much anymore, he still enjoys it.

We live in Gloucester Twp, just off Rt42, about 5 miles south of Deptford.

There's summer leaques in Feasterville, PA (just across the border) that start this week.

Sportsplex has an adult summer league but does not have a youth summer league - this year, at least. For a youth league, you might try Marple Sports Arena (http://www.marplesportarena.com).
