This Saturday May 16 @2pm the Beantown Bees will take on the Suffolk Sharks. The winner of this series will advance to take on the Holbrook Swamp Donkeys as they beat the Hartford Fire Ants last Saturday night. The Bees and the Sharks have faced off 5 times in the regular season but it hasn't been easy for the Bees, who took 3 of 5 from Suffolk, the last 3 meetings of these 2 teams were all won by a goal.

The Long Island 495ers and Skate Safe America are offering a one time only deal. All youth fans in attendance of their semi-final playoff games on May 16th are eligable to participate in a halftime shootout. The winner of the shootout will win free registration for the Fall 2009 season. The game begins at 3:30pm on Saturday, May 16th and will be preseeded by a tailgate barbeque (weather permitting) starting at 2:00 pm. The 495ers finished first in the AIHL's Northeast division and host the 4th place Hartford Fire Ants. Come check out the 495ers as they look to advance to the Division Finals.
