Does anyone know the what the tiebreakers are if you have the same number of points? I can't seem to find it if it's on the site. Thanks.

    Re: AIHL Tiebreakers?

considering all teams play 32 games, winning percentage is already accounted for by the points standings and the second tiebreaker, wins...

Divisional Semifinals and Finals (both best of 3)
    1v4 2v3 winners advance

Conference Finals (format i believe RR? than reseeded)
2v3 winner advance to play 1 seed (best of 3)

    Overall Finals (best of 7)
east conference winner v west conference winner

I was just curious Stio. I know the NHL's first tie breaker is wins, and I thought that is what it would be. I was told otherwise and knew someone on here would know. Somehow after a 7 week layoff guys are still hurt, not to mention the fact that Tozzi fell off a ladder the other day and broke his foot. Out 4-6 weeks.

I would also rather not take the 4+ hour drive to Phoenix again, especially since Graham and I were almost taken out by an 18 wheeler last time. So I wanted to know exactly what we had to do this weekend to have the playoffs in Vegas. Good luck to us.

i believe so, the 3 division winners play each other in a RR style and than reseeded so that 2v3 play each other in a best of 3 and the winner to move onto face the 1 seed in another best of 3. i also heard that the 3 division winners were just seeded based on the regular season standings and that would eliminate the RR and you would just do 2v3 and the winner playing the 1 seed.

does anyone have the actual format for the conference finals?

Katinsky, relax yourself. I would text him, but then he would have my number and probably try and talk to me daily. I can't have that. He was coaching, was let go when we were 8-2. Lou Lamoriello is our GM. I'll tell you that situation another day.

I don't know what you want us to show you. With this tiebreaker situation we have to get 11 out of 12 points this weekend against El Paso to have the playoffs in Vegas. If not then we will be traveling to Phoenix the last weekend in May. When are the other divisions playoffs scheduled?

Jesus, communication in this league is awful. My team has been told repeatedly that divisional playoffs are next weekend, May 15-17. Does anyone know what's really going on?

Our playoffs start next week, May 16 and 17. It's unfortunate that we worked so hard to have a good season and record only to not get a playoff home game, but that's the situation we are in so we deal with it anyways.

As for you guys Downey, hopefully you guys do well and get some home playoff action in Vegas. I gotta get you in touch with my buddy Joe Herman that moved out there. Awesome roller player. Could definitely help you guys out next year. Ask Stio he knows who he is.

    good luck you bum

    Conference Final format.

All 3 teams play 1 round robin game against each other. Team with best record is the 1st seed with a bye to Sunday. Seed 2 vs Seed 3 best of 3 Saturday night with the winner playing Seed 1 Sunday in a best of 3.
