    High School National Tournaments

    USARS (The National Governing Body Of Roller Hockey) and the Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) are proud to jointly sanction High School leagues from around the country. USARS and the AAU are going to continue our mission to provide the support needed for the growth of our sport.

    2009 AAU High School - J.V .- Middle School
    National Championships
    May 22nd-25th
    EAST COAST: Skate Safe America, Old Bethpage, NY
    WEST COAST: Anaheim Hockey Club of Corona, CA Corona, CA

    Entry Deadline: May 11th 2009

    Locations: EAST COAST: Skate Safe America, 182 Bethpage Sweethollow Rd., Old Bethpage, NY. 11804 WEST COAST: Anaheim Hockey Club of Corona, CA, 4325 Prado Rd. #101, Corona, CA 92880

    Dates: Team Check-In Begins: Friday, May 22nd at 6:00 pm. Further info TBA when schedule is posted.
    Games Begin: Saturday, May 23rd A.M. Times and dates for each game will be posted on our web-site at www.aauhockey.org and should be posted by May 15th, 2009. Medal games will be played on Monday morning if necessary (depending upon number of teams entered in tournament) .

    Divisions: High School, Junior Varsity, and Middle School (current 6th-7th-8th grades). The League Director must certify the roster for each team entering.

    Competition: Format of Play: A POOL PLAY SYSTEM WILL BE USED: Even number of teams (if possible) in
    each pool. Each team will be guaranteed a minimum of four (4) games. All teams will be seeded into tiers after pool play.
    NOTE: WHILE THERE IS A 4 GAME GUARANTEE, ALL TEAMS HAVE PLAYED AT
    LEAST 5 GAMES OR MORE THE LAST 3 YEARS.

    Qualifiers: AAU State High School sanctioned leagues and/or specific AAU Approved State High School Scholastic Championships which must be approved by the AAU Inline National Chair.

    Team Classification: NO pickup players allowed from other school teams. Junior Varsity athletes may
    be moved up to their varsity program.

    Entry Deadline: May 11th, 2009. BALANCE OF THE ENTRY FEE MUST BE RECEIVED BY THIS DATE!
    THIS TOURNAMENT IS ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS UNTIL THE
    DEADLINE. ALL ENTRIES RECEIVED AFTER THAT TIME WILL BE PLACED ON A
    WAITING LIST.

    The Host Committee has spent many hours planning and preparing for this AAU event. In order to make it a great success, we are asking for your cooperation. It is the responsibility of the coach, or
    designated person of the team to return all the necessary monies and completed forms by the deadline date. It is not the responsibility of the LOC or the AAU to make sure all are completed, ONLY TO ACCEPT OR REJECT ENTRY (S) BASED ON DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED.

    Team Registration: Pre-Registration: It is extremely important that all entries be received before May 11th, 2009.
    ENTRY FORM (S) RECEIVED BEYOND THAT DATE WILL BE PLACED ON A WAITING LIST ON A FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED BASIS. Guaranteed overnight delivery is mandatory if it is the only way to ensure compliance with the deadline date.

    The AAU 2009 Scholastic Nationals schedules have been released and competitions are set for high school teams on both coasts.
