    Player Fined

A National player was fined for doing charity work, what is that about?

Your going to fine a player for doing charity at a little league event.

    Re: Player Fined

I think the Nationals got caught in a "no win situation" here. The player was doing charity work by signing autographs at a Little League game, but he showed up for his game late.

The fine was for being late, not doing charity work.

It is also my understanding that the Nationals told him, if it happens again, he'll be reassigned to Triple-A. Sounds to me like there's more to this than 1 incident of a player showing up late to a game.

100% true. He's had plenty of issues in the past.

Add those issues to Lastings Milledge and you've got yourself baseball's version of the Jail Blazers.
