If you send a email and do not get a reply between March 19th - 26th it is because I am away, I will reply to you on the evening of Thursday March 26th.

I have already registered 6 skaters and 1 goaltender.

Re: Savage Wolves "Evaluation - Tryout Camp"

A few questions have come up so let me answer them.

No, we are not picking the 2009-2010 AIHL team at this tryout. The skate is being used more towards letting players know what they need to work on in order to play for the Savage Wolves next year and to look at some top tier talent for the TOUR Savage Wolves tournament team.

No, if you tryout you are not obligated to play for the Savage Wolves team next season.

Yes, we have 1-2 spots currently available for the tournament team but that doesn't mean that if stud talent comes in we won't bump a current player.

The reason for the skate is because people always ask "How do I get a chance or a tryout for the Savage Wolves Pro tourny team" so there are no excuses, heres the tryout, now register.

    Hi Brian,

Are you open to out of state players coming to this evaluation? There's not alot going on in Northern California from the Narch Pro side.

    Thanks,

Brian is away from now till next thursday night I believe, but you can come from anywhere for the "tryout". We've had guys from NJ, PA, NY, MA, CT, RI, TN, and MI at our tryout camps before.

Let's face facts, the travel to tryout is worth it just to be on the same floor as the great Bill Katinsky.

Re: Savage Wolves "Evaluation - Tryout Camp"

It was great to see some of you guys again as well as meet a bunch of you guys at the AIHL Jamboree over the weekend. I hope all of you guys attend the tryout which should be, as long as everyone who says they are going to attend shows up, be a tremendous skate and make my job very difficult.

As of today I have 23 skaters and 4 goalies. If you are thinking about attending do not hesitate as spots are filling up quickly.

Re: Savage Wolves "Evaluation - Tryout Camp"

We picked up a few more skaters over the past week bringing the total number of skaters attending the tryout to 26 and the goalkeepers still at 4.

We are just under a month away with space still available for 4 skaters and 2 keepers.

We also just had another spot open up so we will be taking atleast 2, maybe 3, skaters for the Pro TOUR Savage Wolves tournament team from this tryout.

Re: Savage Wolves "Evaluation - Tryout Camp"

We are 1 week away and I am trying to confirm all of the spots for the camp. I have heard a few guys are coming who have not registered with me and I want to have a final head count. Please let me know that you will be definitely attending and who you are bringing. Doors will open at 8:00am to let players in to take care of paperwork, payment and to dress.

Anyone not on the rink by 9:00am will be asked to leave. We have many players coming and I do not want to waste any available time to evaluate them.

Re: Savage Wolves "Evaluation - Tryout Camp"

The Savage Wolves would like the thank all of the players who attended the tryout camp this past Saturday. I personally would like to thank the guys who did not show but still had the character to call, text or email and tell me. We had 24 skaters and 7 goalies attend all of whom had a terrific tryout and will make the "cutting" process really tough. We will be sending out thank yous and evaluations via email early this week and will make phone calls to each player making the 2009 squad.
