No wonder the train is derailed at work. Watching the internet at 2 a.m. just to complain about Edwardsville. Train get over it, it was not called a penalty when you had the caboose removed. No more pain pills.

I know nothing about USC hockey, but based off of their .500 season and versus the records of Brockport, Shippensburg and West Carolina, i have to wonder if Pete Carroll had 10 votes.

I'm happy to see siu edwardsville got in. I have been wanting to play them and try to keep that one kid off the score sheet.
Also, i'm surprised the ecrha didnt get 4 or even 5 teams in

It isn't hard to keep one guys off a score sheet. The ECRHA got the short end of the stick this year with DII bids. There are only two teams in the Great Plains that should have recieved bids. Truman and Missouri State.

im not sure if lindenwood was trying when they played siue, but walker had 5 goals and an assist. try keeping him off the scoreboard.

He may have scored 5 goals against Lindenwood, but there were plenty of other teams that contained him this season. If he gets a hat trick and his teams loses 4-3 then the goals don't mean much. Also, considering that they didn't win a game against either Missouri State or Truman State or Grand Valley this year, he might not have such an easy time scoring and winning at nationals.

for being a first year team, siu-e has done a great job getting a bid to nationals. that being said, they didn't beat a team with a record over .500, so philly should be an interesting experience for them.

He is a good player I am not going to argue that. He has good hands and can pick corners really well however he is really a one sided player when his team doesnt have the puck he doesnt play any real sort of defense. I believe that Edwardsville was given a bid simply because they have Walker, who is the top points leader in DII, and Possibly that a single player can make people excited to watch some DII games. I believe that a team like Brockport should have gotten the bid however. When it comes to nationals teams with a talent in only a few players, and teams that rely on just a few individuals never fair well. Also nationals is about defense, so I dont think he will be putting up big points come nationals.

Contained him? The guy had 108 points in 18 games, okay UMSL, St. Charles, and Grand Valley contained him. Not sure if I wouldn call that "plenty of teams".

Quit pouting because your team didn't get in. They have been terrible in years past at Nationals, so this should come as no surprise.

I would doubt that the alternates would beat Missouri State, Grand Valley, or Truman. SIUE tied Missouri State, who beat Grand Valley. Also, it is tough to beat teams that have over a .500 record when 8 of 11 teams in the Great Plains have records below .500. The selection comittee did it right this time, SIUE will be exciting to watch.

how the hell did Shipp not get a bid?

They're a dangerous team when they are playing their best. I saw a game Shipp vs Rowan it wasn't even a game.
