Has anyone had this wheel problem?

This is a little tough to explain. but I'll try my best. Basically one of my bearings has recently been sliding out of the wheel core. It does not fit snugly into the wheel anymore. I've had this happen once or twice before. My only guess is that the bearing may have possibly "burned" off a layer of rubber in the wheel core. When you spin the wheel, you can hear the spacer rattling around with the bearing. Again, this is a tough problem. Easy solution--get new wheels, I know. But this is one of those "just wondering" type of questions. Thanks to anyone who may reply!

I've had problems with new wheels doing that. The bearing would barely stay in the wheel. Obviously sent the wheel back for replacement. Seems some companies don't have the best manufacturing tolerances.

Theres alot of garbage You need to be using a good quality bearing and wheel. Basically everything is made to the same demensions, but with different tolerences. A quality bearing/wheel is going to have a tolerance of about 1/1000 of a milimeter, a poor quality bearing/wheel may have a tolerence of 1/100 of a milimeter. It doesn't sound like much but, but if you buy quality wheels and bearings at the same time, I've found that there is usually a really tite fit, I also try not to use bearings with too many different sets of wheels. I change bearings every two to three wheel changes wheather ther look or sound like they need too be changed or not.

Well I feel like I use good quality bearings and wheels. Bearings are Speedfreak (ABEC 7), and wheels are Labeda Millenium/Gripper combo. Possibly my problem is using the same set of bearings for too long. In my particular case this time, both wheels and bearings are about a month old. But I normally buy a new set of wheels every 4-6 weeks (playing 6 nights a week), while using the same set of bearings for a year or more. My problem is not a HUGE deal, but just something I thought I'd mention. Thanks for replying.

All you have to do is line the inside of the wheel hub (facing the outer of the bearing) with 1 layer of "Scotch" Tape (sticky side toward the hub of the wheel).
