There are times in our lives that cement the idea that roller hockey is an awesome sport and today we had one in Mount Pleasant, PA. Our Lindenwood teams had just come back to the hotel after playing this morning and our bus driver decided that an ice covered cul-de-sac was a good place to turn around at. Well, the bus was stuck...we tried pushing it with both of our D1 and B teams to no avail. Then a truck driver staying at our hotel helped out with chains for the wheels, but that didn't work out. We knew we had to get the teams back to the rink and we sought out some help. I first went to our country's finest, West Point, for some help. They have 2 vans here this weekend. They were gracious enough to actually bring our B team to the rink. Then we talked to Neumann and they had room in their bus for our D1 team too. The West Point guys came back and offered to get the D1 guys to the rink and with the vans full Ron Beilsten and I rode with the Neumann guys. Two great organizations cementing the fact that this sport is truly amazing. Thank you to both schools from our organization and we look forward to cheering you on in Feasterville at this year's Nationals. We will see West Point next weekend in St. Louis and will make sure to treat them with class and gratitude. Once again...what a sport!

Thanks again from our guys at Lindenwood!
