Let's hear the cheer for kids like 10 year old Tommy Barnes who says, "I want all kids to have the chance to play and enjoy hockey as much as I do." Tommy is a Fifth Grader at Lacy Elementary in WAKE COUNTY, NC, and he's doing something about it!

Kids-for-Kids, Kids-for-Hockey where kids use their Heads to make right choices, their Hearts to do right things, their Hustle to play their hardest, for the game they love, Hockey.

Posts come and go, I know. But sometimes there is something that screams to be shared and read. Louder than the latest score or rant about this and that, giving back to this sport, creating opportunity, keeping kids sticking to it and getting more young kids wanting to join in the fun of hockey has to, somehow, rise to and stay at the top of the list for each of us.

Please think about the many who do, or who might, read what you write and how you put forward the positive aspects of the sport you love.
